Rockland Capital bought the B.L. England plant just a few years ago knowing full well it wasn't in compliance with federal and state air standards. It seems they were counting on the pipeline to be pushed through so they could turn a profit. If the $8 million payment to the Pinelands Commission for acquisition and preservation of open land was contingent on the pipeline being built, how is this not a bribe? I actually think the pipeline would be beneficial. However, the mission of the Pinelands Commission is to protect this area so you can't do it.
