  1. Town Bank - The Clintons announced that they made mistakes on their tax filings. So did Al Capone, and he ended up in jail. It will prove interesting to see if we all are still equal under the law.

  2. Clermont - To the spouter in Sea Isle who thinks humans are blameless for global warming: Although climate change happens periodically due to natural processes, it usually takes millennia for the Earth to realize any changes. Since humans have been around, we've experienced changes at an unprecedented rate. Our habit of extracting fossil fuels from the ground and burning them releases carbon into the atmosphere that has been naturally sequestered for millions of years, all at once. We are the cause of our climate problem. If anyone tells you otherwise, they're probably being paid by an oil company.

  3. North Cape May - Because there has been no warming of the planet for the last 17 years and because much of the data in support of that idea was fabricated or doctored, those foisting this "hoax" on the public had to change the terminology from "global warming" to "climate change," and now, every single "weather" occurrence outside of the norm is a result of "climate change." According to Al Gore, we already were supposed to have seen entire seashore areas under water, and because the U.S. is such a micro-fraction of Earth's surface, why would anyone think we can impact it?

  4. Wildwood / Court House - A great time was had by all at the '70s concert at the Wildwood Convention Center April 25. It was great to see such a big turnout and I hope they do it again next year.

  5. Sea Isle City - Is there a plan for bikers and joggers on the Sea Isle causeway this summer? They will be there; are all cars supposed to wait in line behind the bikes that go well under the posted 40 mph speed limit? People will try to pass them and it won't end well, and how about a turning lane coming from Rt. 9 to get onto the Parkway?

  6. Sea Isle City - Do the people constructing the new Sea Isle causeway plan to do anything at all to address the hundreds of turtles who will be attempting to cross the road in the very near future? There is obviously nowhere to go, which means once they enter the roadway from the southern side of the road, one of two things will happen; they will either be run over and killed, or someone will stop their car in the middle of the road to help them, which will then result in either some serious road rage or an accident. Imagine the black eye if an accident was fatal. You know the turtles are coming, address it.

  7. Wildwood - Regarding the 2016 presidential election: Voters beware. Do not vote for a candidate just because of their race or gender. Do your homework and vote for the person who is best for the job. America needs the right person now.

  8. Court House - What's with the county library starting summer hours and closing April 26? All the schools are still in session, including ACCC, and we haven't even had an 80-degree day. Why can't you at least wait until mid-May? That seems more reasonable.

  9. Rio Grande - The police need to be patrolling Satt Blvd., including the parking lot and the traffic light there, on the weekends, especially Saturday nights. I am sorry that I did not call the police to report the fight that took place late Saturday night, April 25. People were fist fighting around a car, yelling and swearing, and cars were racing. This is not the first time disturbances have taken place in this area. I thought the police were stepping up their presence in Rio Grande. It seems the weekends would be a critical time to do so. I will be reporting all disturbances from now on.

  10. Middle Township - The Cape May County Park is being destroyed by "improvements" which always result in trees being cut down. Parks are supposed to be natural areas. Stop cutting down trees for parking or new exhibits/attractions. The trees at the County Park should be just as important as the Zoo. The Park itself is being overdeveloped. The freeholders need to stop cutting down Park trees for unnecessary improvements.
