  2. Cape May - A large percentage of active military do not approve the policies of this president and his administration. In the 2016 election, we need to elect a leader who served in the military, and one who knows what we need as a nation to be secure with our military in this not so safe world.

  3. Cape May - Another "black teen" was shot and killed near Ferguson Dec. 23, and the riots and protests continue. What else could the police officer do when the "teen" pointed a gun at him? Give the police a break with the impossible job they have to do in areas like Ferguson.

  4. Court House - A few weeks back, I was in my doctor's office when a man, a patient, came in with homemade cupcakes for the staff. I overheard a couple of the staff say to one another how they wouldn't dare eat or touch them, because the man has HIV. The courteous staff offered them to the patients waiting. I took one and ate it when I got home, and I have to tell you it was the most incredible tasting cupcake I've ever had, and I'm still alive! No HIV! They don't know what they missed! Just goes to show how stupid people are. You can't catch it from food they touched!

  5. Town Bank - The committee put together by the deputy mayor on economic development is more of the same. The committee is comprised of the rich and controlling business interest; whose interest is above all. The Lower Twp. economy is for the taxpayers to pay taxes for schools who don't produce a decent product. The reason is not the students, but rather the industry itself. Let's be honest; certain families receive the education jobs. The deputy mayor is looking out for himself, the next election cycle, and not the people in Lower Twp. Let's look behind the curtain!

  6. Middle Township - I had reason to go to Middle Township School No. 2 Dec. 23. I go there on days when there is early dismissal to pick up my granddaughter. I am a disabled person. There are six handicapped parking spots in the parking lot. I got to the school 20 minutes before the kids got out. There were cars parked in all of the handicapped spots. One of the six cars had a handicapped placard. I did find a parking spot at the far end of the lot. This is a common occurrence in this school parking lot. Why?

  7. Court House - The sewer bills are just outrageous. How come they have not put sewer meters like most do?

  8. Middle Township - The state and/or county should be required to install permanent terrapin barriers along Sea Isle Blvd., since they're needlessly raising the road. The state should also be required to put the same concrete barrier that divides the North Wildwood Blvd. lanes along both shoulders to prevent terrapins from getting on the road. Right now, the center concrete barrier ensures any turtle that tries to cross will get killed. A permanent terrapin barrier should have been installed when they widened that road 20 years ago!

  9. Stone Harbor - Regarding being elected in Stone Harbor: Only because there are so few voters can anyone, and I mean anyone, get elected. There's no way the council members that we have currently, could ever get elected in a community of full-time residents with everyone voting. In this town, you can be of marginal ability and get a couple of friends to vote for you and win, and being mayor here is even easier. It's of ceremony only and takes no ability to do. There's no policy making and no votes. Stone Harbor really needs to change its form of government to bring it into the 21st century.

  10. Stone Harbor - Why can't readers here understand that one person as president cannot do much, regardless of party. It's of little consequence who gets elected in 2016. Agendas are set, and acted on, by a combination of factors, such as the media, conditions in the country, Congress, courts and public demands. Neither Bush nor Obama themselves could do much on their own.
