  1. Cape May - To the commentators who disagree with the spouter who said that food stamps should be used for healthy food: Are you saying that we should just "let them eat cake?"

  2. Wildwood - The bulk head along Susquehanna in Wildwood is a mess and dangerous to the people who like to fish, crab or just take in the water views. When are we going to see it replaced, like the bulkheads in North Wildwood?

  3. North Wildwood - The Town Bank spouter complaining about the Koch Bros. should realize they have supported things like cancer hospitals, arts centers, and even educational institutions. As a matter of fact, Reid, Obama and Hillary have also accepted their past donations, conveniently forgetting while they vilify them. Liberals don't want you to know they have Tom Steyer, a self-deluded billionaire who uses his wealth to influence the political process. He does for liberals what they accuse the Koch Bros. of doing for conservatives.

  4. Avalon - New York state has passed a law requiring owners of automatic firearms to register them with the state. A representative of a gun rights group predicts that the owners will defy the law and refuse to register the weapons. If he's correct, the NRA will have to modify one of its favorite slogans. "Criminals don't obey laws" will have to become "Criminals and gun-loving, supposedly, law-abiding citizens don't obey laws."

  5. Stone Harbor - To all residents and non-residents of Stone Harbor that did not get their houses ready for last winter: Why should I, as a lifer, have to pay for your mistake in not doing the correct thing for the winter? Anyone that has water should know it freezes, even if you have an over-protected house.

  6. Lower Township - I don't see a problem with Lower Twp. enforcing a proof of residency or property ownership to gain access to the recycling/waste yard. As with a lot of things in our society, over abuse has forced the situation. Don't shoot the messenger; the person that works the booth is simply doing their job to check ID's. If you don't live or pay taxes in Lower Township, go to your own recycling yard or drive your trash back to your state.

  7. Court House - To the person from Villas making fun of people collecting food stamps and saying they can afford lobster: Shame on you. I had the same job for 23 years and then they "downsized." In other words, they gave the CEO and president hundreds of thousands of dollars more and dropped some hardworking staff who were at the top of the scale, making a whopping $41,000. Food stamps give you $4 per person per day. $4 is not enough money to buy the butter and lemon for the lobster! You should be forced to try SNAP, a program where politicians, students and caring people have tried to live on $4 a day.

  8. Wildwood Crest - The U.S. has costly military involvements in Korea, Somalia, Libya, Egypt, Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Did I leave any out? No wonder why our nation is in the shape it's in. We need the money here, not out there!

  9. North Cape May - I agree with the spouter about how people abuse the use of handicap license plates: Their spouse or parent passes away and they continue to take advantage. Can't something be done? I know someone whose significant other passed two years ago, that still rides around with the same plates, taking advantage. Who do we report this to?

  10. Wildwood Crest - Now an article in the press stating a change in leadership at the WCPD? The captain is being replaced by a subordinate and a detective from the county? Why and how does this happen?
