  1. Wildwood - In response to a spouter: I have off street parking and I can accommodate several cars if I were to have visitors. My problem is the fact that these people I'm complaining about have no respect for others. I agree with you that if you have off street parking, you have the right to park on the street. However, when you take up all the parking spaces and don't park in your driveway on purpose just to be rude, then I have a problem. Not only that, leaving all your vehicles and never moving them is called abandonment. That's a towable offense.

  2. North Wildwood - The north end of our town has endured the continual noise of the helicopter ride all summer. From 9 a.m. to about 9 p.m., the copter flies over our area every few minutes. The noise certainly disturbs the normal peace and quiet of our town. Maybe next year, commissioners can have the flight path changed to the southern end of the island.

  3. Lower Towsnhip - The Lower Township spouter hit the nail on the head last week with the trash all over the streets. From Bayshore to the bay, all the streets are littered with cans, recycling, trash and garbage. The point is to get the trash into the garbage truck fellas, not out on the streets.

  4. Dennis Township - Where are the State Police in Dennis Township? Certainly not anywhere on Rt. 83 or Rt. 47, especially in the early morning when people are heading to work or back to Phila. Excessive speeds, passing on double yellow lines and just flat out reckless driving. I have seen it not once, but numerous times. Please get out on these roads and enforce traffic regulations before there are even more accidents and deaths.

  5. Lower Township - Thank you to the person who found my money clip and driver's license, and took the time to drop it off at my home.

  6. Wildwood - I agree with the spouter that wants the Wildwood boardwalk widened. It is evident that, as the years go by, more and more people are coming to enjoy the boardwalk. With the tramcars, there is just not enough room. Someone is making a boatload of money with these crowds and some of that money should be put back into infrastructure.

  7. Wildwood Crest - To the person who drives by my house on Wisteria every night, blaring music and lighting fireworks; please stop! It's like a DJ is in my cottage. I haven't seen a DJ in my house all summer, so stop providing me with one. Light a sparkler or something. It's much quieter.

  8. Stone Harbor - After losing over five dozen soldiers and being condemned by the international community, including the U.S., Israel signs a ceasefire treaty that eases the Gaza blockade, extends the Mediterranean fishing zone, frees Hamas prisoners and agrees to a seaport and airport in Gaza. The tunnels stay, the rockets are still there and the hate speech continues. What was accomplished by Netanahyu?

  9. Avalon - Reading spouts provides interesting insight into the attitudes of CMC residents and visitors on a variety of topics. But, perhaps most interesting are the comments on the police. It is amazing how many people complain that the police do not do enough to enforce a whole myriad of different violations, while an almost equally large group complain that the police are over zealous in enforcing those same laws and ordinances. "You can't have your cake and eat it too" comes to mind. No one is perfect, but for the most part, the police in CMC do a good job with a difficult and diverse population.

  10. North Wildwood - To the spouter explaining that the conditions of the 10th St. porta-potties are the beach patrol's priority: You are mistaken. It is a concern of public works, who does a daily 9 a.m. emptying of the trash receptacles and porta-pots. If anyone would like actual progress on this matter, perhaps the original spouter should make a phone call to city hall to document his/her suggestions.
