Dennis Township School District is behind the curve in not having a State Police coordinated emergency school response plan and other daily security protocols to deal with modern day realities like shootings, tornadoes, etc. For the protection of our children, we need to follow State Police advice and hire proper security. The State Police patrol three local municipalities with limited resources, and they cannot station a school resource officer in our schools on a daily basis. While we cannot afford a local police department, couldn't constables do this job and other duties as well?

This statement sounds like it came from a disgruntled employee of DT school or a board member trying to stir the pot…….if you look in the minuets of the board meeting the school board approved the emergency plan.
