Osprey Point Veterans Day Service

The Veterans Day Program at Staff Sergeant William Godfrey Memorial Park, Osprey Point, will be held on Mon., Nov. 12 at 10 a.m. and hosted by Resident Aldo Palombo. The Tuckahoe Boy Scout Troop 55 Color Guard will present the Flag and their bugler will render Taps.

Members of Marmora VFW Post 8695, under the command of Charles Addelizi, the Tuckahoe American Legion Post 239 Rifle Squad, led by Hermon Scheibein, and many dignitaries will attend.

William Horton, Osprey Point resident, Board Member and Navy veteran, will address the gathering, followed by brief comments by Commander Addelizi and resident Anthony D’Alicandro.

The more than 60 Veterans of Osprey Point, and visitors, will be acknowledged and entertained with patriotic songs. All families, friends, and neighbors are welcome to honor our Veterans for their service to our great country.

If there is inclement weather, the Service will be held in the Osprey Point Clubhouse, where light refreshments will be served.
