Marine Mammal Stranding Center Training Workshop

On Sat., Dec. 15 at 1:00 p.m., the Marine Mammal Stranding Center will be hosting a stranding volunteer workshop at Cape May Point State Park. At the workshop, volunteers interested in becoming "first responders" for stranded marine mammals and sea turtles in New Jersey will be trained by Stranding Center Staff on proper procedures for handling these endangered and protected species.

Potential volunteers must be at least 18 years old and reside within 15 minutes of a coastal waterway.
