Lower Twp. Lacrosse Registration

The Lower Township Department of Recreation is offering separate Lacrosse programs for boys and girls in the 3rd through 8th grades. Emphasis will be placed on the development of individual skills and providing and understanding of the game. The program will be held on weeknights as well as weekends. Participants must provide their own equipment. Boys will need black lacrosse helmets, gloves, elbow pads, lacrosse sticks, and shoulder pads. Girls will need to provide goggles, a mouthpiece, and a lacrosse stick. The program emphasizes the basic skills of catching, throwing, shooting, offense and defense. Travel for league games is to be expected. Registrations will begin February 2nd and will continue through Feb. 17, 2013. Fees are as follows: Residents $15 for 1 child, $25 for 2 children, and $30 for 3 of more children. Non Residents $20 for 1 child, $30 for 2 children, and $35 for 3 or more children. Participants must also register with the U.S. Lacrosse (additional information will be provided by the team coaches, approx. cost $25.00.)
