Oktoberfest style block party with live entertainment, music, games, prizes and vendors!
Pacific Avenue Brings Oktoberfest to Wildwoods’ Second Season WILDWOOD, NJ – Pacific Avenue Block Party (PABP), a not for profit organization revitalizing downtown Wildwood one block party at a time, is bringing Oktoberfest to Wildwood’s second season. PABP will host the inaugural Cornhole and Craft Beer Festival, Saturday, October 13th from 8am to 8pm. Pacific Avenue will be bustling with cornhole competitors, live entertainment, face painting, a bouncy house and the sweet aromas of craft beers and vendors between Garfield and Schellenger avenues. The cornhole tournament will begin at 8am and end with a first place cash prize of $500, a $200 second place prize, and $100 prizes for 3rd through 5th place winners. At 10am, Craft Beer tastings begin with a $30 entry fee including a custom souvenir glass, shirt and 12 tastes of limited edition Octoberfest craft beers from local and foreign breweries. Widmer Okto., Tommyknocker Pumpkin and Tuckahoe Pumpkin are just three of at least 12 craft beers available. Cornhole competitors hoping to taste craft beers are offered a discounted entry fee of $25. Live entertainment by local favorite, the Sindi Raymond Band, will keep the party going from the center of Pacific Avenue all day! Local business owners, like Jim Goodroe of the Shamrock Café, claim overwhelmingly positive feedback from Pacific Avenue block parties, among other Restaurant Row Owners. The Shamrock Café, Juan Pablo’s Margarita Bar, and Cattle ‘n Clover are all proud sponsors of this event. It is one of many events driving Wildwood’s second season, but also one of a kind. This festival will compliment other new fall events in the Wildwoods as well as begin an annual tradition the whole family can look forward to. So save the date and pack up your family for a day of fall fun on Pacific Avenue! For more information, visit www.pacificaveblockparty.org or call 856.630.6133
