GUESTS GRAPPLE WITH SECRET CODES, INVISIBLE INK AND A KILLER IN THEIR MIDST AT NEW STYLE MYSTERY ADVENTURE IN JERSEY Every inch of the Jersey Cape south of the Cape May Canal will be their hunting ground as the Bedford Inn hosts The Cold Hand of Inspector Ballantine April 19-20, 2013. The world's largest diamond has been stolen and is waiting to be recovered by teams of guests who will contend with torn maps and a trail of invisible ink and cipher clues. Several shops in Cape May will be mystery sites and the entire Jersey Cape will need careful searching for anything that will aid our detectives. The weekend adventure is a real-time 24/7 investigation that begins the moment our guests check into their rooms and continues with no time outs or safe places until the case is closed. Special Team Missions ensure that poison, blackmail and bribery will all be part of the fun. Of course the killer will be playing too. Our record stands at 13 guests murdered in a single night! Guests have the option of investigating as any character, detective, or villain from film or literature. We've had Clark Kent and Lois Lane at a recent mystery as well as the Terminator. Charlie Chan, Columbo and Hannibal Lecter have all made appearances at our events. Guest initiative and imagination are paramount at Shadow Stalker events. Bringing props and false clues are encouraged and some of our wildest, funniest moments have been guest-created which makes it a weekend of intrigue and fun even for that nice Mr. Denham who is designing The Cold Hand of Inspector Ballantine.
