“Cape Cuisine: Healthy Soups and Stews” presented by Chef Mark Kalla (Cooking Demo)

The Cape May County Library invites the public to attend the demonstration “Cape Cuisine: Healthy Soups and Stews” presented by Chef Mark Kalla at 1 p.m. on Jan. 12. The demonstration will take place at the Main Library located at 30 W. Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House.

Chef Kalla will demonstrate how to prepare all your favorite slow cooking winter foods. Learn how to trim the fat and keep the flavor of your favorite soups and stews. Participants will be invited to sample the foods that have been prepared.

Chef Kalla is the head chef at Green Cuisine Restaurant in Stone Harbor. He currently runs the Avalon Elementary School cafeteria and teaches culinary instruction to children during the summer.
